Amelia National Golf and Country Club, designed by Tom Fazio, maintains and showcases the natural beauty that Amelia Island has to offer. Fazio sought to create a golf course that closely followed the existing topography, allowing a seamless transition between nature and an excellent round of golf.

Men's Newcomers Club was formed in 1996 by the efforts of Harry Heyl, Bill Gorski, and Buck Weaver. The club was envisioned as a loosely organized group of men that would meet monthly to be informed of local activities and have some fellowship over lunch.

Welcome to the Men's Newcomers Club of Amelia Island The 2021-22 year is our 25th year of providing camaraderie and fellowship to our almost 200 members. Our focus is to help newcomers to the Amelia Island area become acclimated and develop new friendships.

The Golf Club of Amelia Island Golf Aficionado
